Progressive Democrats of America
members vote overwhelmingly to
endorse Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer

February 21, 2008

“Minnesota has a long tradition of endorsing progressive candidates and Jack is clearly the progressive in this race,” said Minnesota’s PDA Endorsement Coordinator Nancy Moe.  “For example, all the candidates, including Norm Coleman, say they care about global warming.  Jack is the only candidate to support policies to address climate change that are consistent with what climate scientists require, including the ‘One Sky Initiative’ and his plans for a Domestic Marshall Plan to build a renewable energy economy.”

Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer calls this the most important decade in human history because the decisions we make in the next few years on climate, the war, the economy and healthcare will determine the quality of life for a very long time.  “We are excited to endorse Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer because he is the one who can inspire Minnesotans and galvanize us around a courageous politics of hope” said Moe.
